I gained 2.2 pounds this week, though I'm certain that most (if not all) of it was water. Since I don't have a scale at home, I won't know for sure until Saturday. However, I stayed within my points all week but had Chinese food on Wednesday (wonton soup, dumplings, and crab rangoons), and finished the leftover soup on Friday--I always bloat like crazy with Chinese food. I've also been constipated again--I've NEVER experienced constipation like this in my life (except when I was pregnant), and now I've dealt with it multiple times over the last 2 months. This is the pits!
On Saturday, I walked Karinne to her dance class and went for a run while I waited to pick her up. I didn't want another experience like the previous Saturday, so this time I did 3:2 intervals, and ran super slowly, but I was able to finish my run! I also made sure to have water with me, so no doubt that helped.

and this...
| Yes, there's a table under there. Note the shelf above the table crammed with more stuff. |
will become a thing of the past. Fingers crossed!
Awesome job on the run! Clutter stresses me out, too.
ReplyDeleteGreat run indeed! I also stress about clutter. Drives me nuts!
ReplyDeleteOh clutter is my nemesis. I feel like I am constantly cleaning my bedroom only for it to look like my laundry hamper exploded.
ReplyDeleteAwesome job getting your run done on a sweltering day!
I remember those days, of kid toys and stuff everywhere. Now my floors are littered with dog chews, but it's not nearly as bad. Just as with the kids, though, as soon as I pick them up and put them away, out they all come again, LOL.
ReplyDeleteThere are just two of us in our house and I am constantly amazed how quickly we can bury the dining room table. I think we are just super lazy about putting stuff away. I was into flylady.net for awhile. Still do her 15 minute clean ups - set the timer and go - it is amazing how much you can get done with a timer ticking in your ear :)
ReplyDeleteThat book (the Marie Kondo one, right?) transformed my life and my house. :)
ReplyDeleteSorry about the 'plugged up internal plumbing'...just drink as much water as you can, eat as much veggies...get healthy oils in...it all should help. :)
Oh my goodness- let me know how you like that book because I could certainly use some help in that department too!
ReplyDeleteChinese food does that to me too. I find that uncluttering is so helpful in terms of my mental stress. I always find myself taking a day or two to unclutter after any big trip or any big project at work. I'll have to check that book out!
